Yara is a Syrian refugee, and life doesn't get much shittier than that, does it? Unless you're a Syrian refugee who suddenly finds herself in a place where no one understands what she's saying, there is no wi-fi, and how did she even get there? Through all the gloom the stars are twinkling, just like the eyes of the people around her.
A good fic if you like elves, language barriers, and OC's who break the mould. Not as depressing as the tags seem. Actually quite uplifting. Not a mary-sue, and not a tenth-walker, but the fellowship will come into play. Bear with me :)
EDIT: So, I've noticed this is definitely going to end up being, well, long. It's turning out to be a story just as much about finding your place in the world as it is about finding adventure in Middle-Earth. I hope you enjoy it, anyway, and if you don't, feel free to leave constructive criticism :)
I hope the language setup works for you. Please critique my Quenya and Sindarin. I have no clue about Swedish or Arabic, sooo... not even attempting those.

This is my first time writing, so please be gentle with me.
This is a multi-chapter story I am currently working on because, well, covid restrictions have taken away my ability to work fully. Each chapter deals with different gay kinks and fetishes, some with multiple kinks/fetishes in one. As interesting a concept the Reapers are, they really tend to pigeonhole the direction of the story, dont they? Well, I've decided to say "fuck all that" and write my own version of what would happen if that little star fucker never existed. Depending on how invested I get in to this AU, I may start to go in to the Protheans a bit more. But that'll be waaaaay off. Until then, expect this to mainly stick to the drama of the Batarian Hegemony, gangs, politics, and later on Cerberus.
There are QUITE a few tags so I dont blame you for skipping them, but they will likely grow in number as I continue to write. If you all have suggestions, dont be afraid to leave a comment. A writer is only as good as her audience is responsive.
