It doesn’t hurt - not really - but the sound alone has Aventurine’s throat dry and his body spasming from the overstimulation. His knees dig harder into the mattress and it’s a herculean feat that he’s not flat on his stomach already.
“Have you left a mark yet, doctor?” asks Aventurine.
During a negotiated scene with his business partner, Aventurine slips and uses a word with too many past associations. Ratio's reaction both surprises and scares Aventurine. (He's not worth such kindness.)

Ratio was blushing, staring at him with blown pupils, and the world tilted on its axis.
What the fuck.
Aventurine swallowed, leaning closer. He regarded Ratio with narrow eyes. “You wish to be used… as a distraction?”
Ratio searches for Aventurine and finds him lying motionless on the grand stage. His first attempt at helping the creature practically writhing in agony is more or less successful — he finds himself entranced and intrigued by his form, making a choice which derails his entire relationship with the (infuriatingly attractive) gambler indefinitely.
(Or: Ratio indulges in his horny fantasies and gets fucked into oblivion by Boss!Aventurine)
