Summary
The aftermath of the nogitsune's possession of Stiles has ended up in a very strange and almost unlikely relationship forming between Stiles and Derek Hale. After saving Stiles and regaining his alpha-hood while doing it, Stiles has come to only feel safe when around the werewolf. Summary
Eddie sits up and turns around, swaying a little bit on the way, and lays his head against Buck’s shoulder. “Why couldn’t I love her?” Buck holds Eddie tight and rubs his back with trembling hands.
“You can’t force yourself to love someone, Eddie.” Buck brings a hand up to Eddie’s head and smooths his fingers through the dark strands.
“That’s what I’ve always done, though. With Shannon… I… I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I’ve only ever been able to love Christopher and…” Eddie trails off and Buck presses his friend closer to his body. He lets out his own sniffle as Eddie lets out a sob. “You…” it’s a broken whisper, barely audible. Buck’s breath catches in his throat. “I’m broken, Evan.”

Canon compliant coda to 5.03 where Buck comforts Eddie after the breakup, They get drunk, Eddie deals with his internalized homophobia, and then there's four thousand words of (sober) smut.
