Summary
A long slow-burn fic from Regulus’ POV, beginning in 1972.
In this version of the story, Remus Lupin never goes to Hogwarts. His parents keep him home, afraid someone might discover their son is a werewolf. Instead he receives private magical tutoring and attends Muggle schools.
Sirius Black eventually meets Remus anyway. But Regulus Black saw him first.
This story explores how it might have changed Regulus’ fate if the two of them had found each other and he hadn’t been alone.
[I reject J. K. Rowling’s transphobic views. May she rage helplessly every time fandom makes her characters queer.]

Summary
James has always known exactly what Regulus Black is: a Death Eater who claimed the Imperius Curse and ran.
So when he returns five years later, thin and whispered about even among purebloods, James knows he should keep his distance.
Instead, he lets him make something for his son.
It should've been a simple commission. Somehow, James ends up waist-deep in Black family secrets, pureblood politics, and the growing sense that something is deeply wrong beneath it all.
Did Regulus ever escape the war?

Summary
Remus Lupin is not who he presents himself to be. His real name is Remus Greyback, a true born werewolf and the sole heir to the powerful Werewolf pack north of the isle. When an attack from the wizarding world forced him and his family to flee his home forest and live under the name Remus Lupin, he never thought a day would come for him to mingle with the children of the wizarding kind in Hogwarts. He has to stay and hide in plain sight in order to find ways to help the wolves reclaim their forests and dignity. However, a meeting with who should be a foe feels like a dear and important friend.
Sirius just wants to protect his brother, nothing is more important than that to him. Regulus is born with an affliction that corresponds with the moon. When a weird boy he's certain is a creature of the moon befriends him, would this friendship help his sickly brother when just about everyone from his family sees their kind as the enemy?

Summary
Regulus Black is fine. He is perfectly fine. He has three broken ribs, a disowned brother, and a mother who enjoys the Cruciatus Curse a little too much, but he is fine.
His plan was simple: Keep his head down, take the Mark, and fade into the background. He didn't plan on becoming an illegal Animagus, befriending a werewolf, or falling in love with his brother’s best friend.
Meanwhile, Remus Lupin is trying to figure out if Sirius is dead or just dramatic, and why the younger Black looks like a ghost. They are two sides of the same coin: keeping secrets to protect the people they love. But while Remus has found a pack to ground him, Regulus is drifting out to sea.
But James Potter has a nasty habit of finding things that don't want to be found. Now, Regulus has to decide if he’s brave enough to step into the sun, even if it burns.
OR: The Black brothers compete for the title of "Most Emotionally Constipated" while Regulus gaslights, gatekeeps, and girlbosses his way through a mental breakdown. Regulus is depressed, James is obsessed, Remus is stressed, and Sirius is just... well, Sirius is doing his best, but he’s mostly loudly confused.
