“Good boy. I’ll have my man take you to him. Talk some sense into him. Take as long as you need. Days, weeks, I don’t care. I want him to heel at my word. Understand?”
“Yes, master. I can do that.” Phil wished he didn’t know who his master was talking about.

Summary
It took eight failed placements for Techno to be assigned a social worker with the bright and beautiful idea that, as a changeling, he probably should be placed within a family of magicks. Techno isn't fond of the idea. But it's not like he has anywhere else he belongs. Even if he's quite sure Phil and the rest of them all hate him.

Cleaning the floors in the Hypixel castle was all Techno had ever known. He'd perfected the art of going unnoticed, keeping his head low and his wings bound up to avoid gaining unwanted attention. When the Antarctic Empire invaded and he was taken to serve them instead, Techno didn't think much would change. Oh, how terribly wrong he was about that.

Summary
When bounty hunters gravely injured Technoblade, he found temporary refuge in a hybrid community. Initially, the hybrids were equally wary as he was of them, thinking of their own poachers. But their hackles eased when Technoblade pretended to be a bunnyborn. For some reason, the hybrids mistook his endless scars, relentless vigilance, and constant flinches as further proof Technoblade was one of them. All part of the master plan...?
The lie was only meant to last a few days, only meant to avoid death. But as Technoblade tentatively became used to the kindness of Philza, Niki, and Tommy, the justifications to delay running piled up. The lie could last a little longer, couldn't it?
