Summary
When Uchiha Sasuke wakes up with memories of a past life following the aftermath of the massacre of his clan, he despairs. The future seems bleak and cruel and kami, all he wants to do is survive. But a sitting duck is a dead duck and Uchiha Sasuke, above all things, callously, selfishly, wants to live.
The problem with Uchihas, you see, is that they love too deeply they end up destroying themselves in a myriad of emotions, bursting into flames.

Summary
Canon divergence. Set in the Valley of the End. Sasuke realises the final parting gift given by his father before his death. A gift that would allow him to secure his own future on his own terms. It was a way for all the dreams, stories and lessons of the Uchiha clan to continue instead of being lost. This is a look on how people can discover their own stories, even if history has long been written by the victors.
Alternatively, when Itachi once again attacks Sasuke with the Tsukiyomi, he unknowingly awakens memories Fugaku passed on to Sasuke on his death. The great Shinobi nations will never be the same, for history will no longer be on the purview of the winners.

A part of her mind is screaming, howling at the memories of countless deaths carved into it and the burning betrayal of his brother.
The other is sobbing hysterically at the memory of hands that took and took until there wasn’t anything left to take.

It takes her months to come to terms with the fact that she’s not dead but alive and trapped in the body of a six-year-old little boy whose brother had massacred his entire family. She feels disconnected from the world she's awaken in, where children are being taught to kill and she's living in the same house the boy saw his family be slaughtered in and no one seems to care.
Being reborn isn't fun.
Being reborn as Uchiha Sasuke is a mess and a half.

Amaterasu said as the flames lashed against its severed front limb. I can show you the end of the world.Look up, Amaterasu said, see the Eternal Tsukuyomi.
Sasuke gazed up at the moon, red with a perverse eye of constant spirals. He asked, with a fractured voice and shaking lungs, “what is that?”

Summary
I never expected to die young, but if I had I would have probably thought something normal like a car accident. I wasn’t given a peaceful death though. Maybe the trauma I went through on that night, the same night as the Uchiha massacre, is the reason I found myself in the Naruto world. I was far from happy about any of it, but I’d always been a determined person and I learned to make the best of the situation. Self-Insert OC into a canon character.
This story is now officially abandoned. Thank you to everyone who supported it and I apologize for leaving it unfinished.
