“Yeah.”
“I know him!” Sapnap exclaims, and he sounds entirely too excited for Dream’s liking. “He’s on the basketball team with me. Tall, blonde hair, blue eyes? Looks a little bit like he got thrown in the laundry by accident?”
“He’s pretty,” Dream agrees miserably.
On the first day of college, in the second row of the general chemistry classroom, Dream develops a crush.

“Have you ever seen the sky, Sapnap?” he asks, running his fingers along the edge of one screen. Underneath them, the server hums, and it almost feels like his palms tingle.
George stays quiet. Eventually, Sapnap has to admit, “...No. Never. Not—not outside of vids and shit.”
“Yeah,” Dream breathes, staring hungrily at the map showing him where the compound opens up to air and nothing else. He knew that the Empire was rich, but it isn’t until now that he realizes how rich. “Me neither. When am I ever going to get a chance like this again?”
Wilbur hires the Dream Team to kill the one thing standing in his way: the rulers of the Antarctic Empire, the oldest conglomerate in the city. This has consequences none of them could imagine.

“They’re not paying me anything.”
Punz almost never did anything without the promise of monetary rewards.
“Money is irrelevant right now. I’m not being rewarded or penalized regardless of what happens.” Punz’s voice was collected, and cold in the emotionless drawl Dream had long gotten used to. The mercenary wasn’t someone to wear his heart on his sleeves, and even at the height of their partnership, Dream had rarely known what the other was thinking.
The crease of his brow was wrinkled slightly, but there was almost nothing readable. An impenetrable wall that Dream himself could not crack. That he couldn’t read. Dream had never been able to hold the same emotionless resolve, he’d needed a physical mask for that.
Maybe Punz had always been colder than him.
Maybe the mercenary had achieved what Dream had long since failed to. No attachments, no cares. Nothing.
Or, the au where Punz genuinely betrayed Dream in the attachment room and they're both left to pick up the pieces of Pandora's Vault.

Summary
Dream is trying to have a nice summer, especially since he couldn't go back home. When it turns out that the beach house he was planning on staying at happened to be double booked, he decides to stick around since it would be too difficult to find somewhere else. Unfortunately for him, it turns out that Punz is the person staying there with him. Punz, his self proclaimed enemy and person that he utterly loathes. How is he supposed to spend a whole summer with him?
