Summary
It starts when Izuku is young and impressionable and left witnessing the carnage of the world around him. He spent so much of his childhood being told he is useless, a waste of space for not having a quirk, yet here in this mess of a world he finds he can make a difference. It doesn’t start out large or fancy. A boy handing out band aids and water, simple things but important things nonetheless. Someone seeing the pain of the world and wanting to make it better.
He doesn’t set out for it to mean anything, or for it to be his life’s path; yet that is the end result anyways. Actions have meaning, and these ones mean everything to those he helps.

Sometimes the darkness under the stairs is just lack of light, and sometimes it is endless, a void that goes on forever. And sometimes it speaks to little Harry Potter.
Mostly it says stay, don't get lost - but when Mr Dudley comes to hurt him, the darkness had opinions about that!

The war is over, Severus Snape is awaiting trial, and the one person he thought would help him stands back instead, leaving him to figure out a way to save himself, which, seeing as he's in a maximum security facility, isn't as easy as one might think!
Or:
Albus Dumbledore had many plans for the return of Voldemort, and one of them was making sure Severus Snape was right where he wanted him, and sure, Azkaban might not be fun but so what, he'd be safe as houses locked up, waiting for Albus to rescue him.
Or:
Harry wants his mummy, Petunia wants her house back, Shouta wants to know who the new vigilante is, Nezu wants ALL the kids, and Severus wants to figure out how this is his life now!
At least the hero is easy on the eyes?
