Here was this man, sitting like a piece of blue mold against the torn leather seat. He gloated about information and connections and honesty, but Tenna knew better than to trust the words of some stranger who thought he was on top of the world. The way he smiled, large and wolf-like, eyes scanning Tenna like he was looking for an opening to strike. Everything about him screamed untrustworthy.

Cupping his cheeks, he doesn't notice Kris' blanket-lumpy form shifting around oddly at first. "Awww, you STAR~🌟!!! Well don't get too comfy yet, 'cause I'll be there!!!! And as SOON as I get ready, we're gonna have one HECK of a—"
Abruptly, Kris pitches forward into a pillow hugged to their chest, muffling a long fit of rough, raspy coughs into it.
