    Summary

Lestat stumbles through a haze in which nothing is clear but ghosts. The drugs banish them, usually, but it isn't a perfect science—on an unlucky night, what yesterday swept them away resummons them tenfold.

    Tonight is an unlucky night.

    Summary

Yes, the corpses. Strewn throughout the dank lair he has trapped you in, corpses of other blonde men–all around your age, all around your height. Their eyes bore into you–strip you down more than you’ve already been stripped–and cast on their judgement. Unmanly. Unclean. Some of them are so rotten and it hasn’t stopped assaulting your nose since you were thrown in here. They all have dual puncture wounds riddling their body from the same feedings you are being subjected to. You think of the hare you trapped when you were thirteen. The little thing squirmed around, limp flesh and bones powerless in the face of the greater creature. Was that how you looked now?

    Summary

Percy didn’t mean to lie. Truly, he didn’t. He wished he could tell everyone the truth. It would be less of a burden for him, and for everyone else. But he couldn’t. If he told them the truth, they would see how broken he is. They would see him the way he saw himself. He didn’t want that.

Part of him hoped that if he told the lies enough, they would eventually come true, like a self-fulfilling prophecy. Unfortunately for Percy, prophecies never seemed to go the way he wanted them to.

Percy Jackson desperately needs therapy and other mental health help, but, unfortunately, that would require him to actually acknowledge the problem first, and he is NOT going to do that. And it's also Thanksgiving, by the way.

    Summary

Percy Jackson as he clung to the ledge above the pit felt way too similar to his first quest. But as he hangs on a few more moments Percy realizes what Bacchus meant in Kansas. This is his role alone in the prophecy. But alone means a chance to finally let loose without fear of harming those he is loyal to. He realizes something else, fate rights itself, he hadn’t fallen into the pit in the first quest but he is here now.
Perhaps he has always been destined to fall into Tartarus.
