Summary
For a while now, Dean has been having dreams… Well, okay, so maybe normal dreams don’t involve waking up in a cold sweat, nauseated and clammy but too hot all the same, feeling like an absolute piece of trash that’s been baking in an abandoned alley a few weeks too long. Maybe that makes them less dreams and more nightmares.
So, yeah.
Dean has been having nightmares, and those nightmares are usually about Cas.

Summary
"Hester was right... When I first laid my hand on you in Hell, I was lost. But when I first saw you, when I first felt you, when my mark seared into your soul, I was more found than I'd ever been in my existence previous. I found a purpose, Dean, a reason."
Everything that happened prior to Purgatory is writhing inside Dean, involuntarily expressing itself through word vomit and pushing buttons-- both his own and Castiel's. Dean doesn't know how to handle his feelings, so he does it in one of the best way he knows how; picking a fight. But Cas has his own things to say to Dean, and the hunter is more than surprised at the emotions he sees wreaking their own havoc on the angel.

Summary
When they leave the room for the rest of the tour, Castiel looks back through the door to take in the sight of Dean’s room once more. It’s Castiel’s turn to be unable to help himself. But who could blame him? The atmosphere of it is so perfect, so comforting and familiar-- so Dean-- that he honestly doesn’t want to leave it behind.
Dean gives Castiel a tour of the Batcave, with a special surprise in it just for the angel. Something's not sitting well with Castiel about it, though, and he's beginning to understand why...

Summary
In 1839, Dean Winchester has left behind the night terrors of his childhood and the unnatural desires that ultimately drove his family from England.
Now in Nuremberg, he enjoys a quiet life with his brother, sister-in-law, and pious fiancee. As a favor to his solicitor brother, he travels to Transylvania to meet with a client, Count Orlok. In the looming, decaying castle blanketed in snow, Dean finds the count to be a lonely figure seemingly desperate for human connection.
As Dean's health declines, he is plagued by strange, vivid dreams that span the castle's history, his own memories, and fantasies he had hoped to leave years in the past and an ocean away. While his life and sanity crumble, he must choose between what he should want and what he fears.

Summary
The girl waves at Castiel, her bangles tinkling cheerfully. “Did you really let Claire get her eyebrow pierced?”
Castiel blinks and glances at his daughter. He’d assume that would be obvious, since she's still wearing her current favorite—a yellow-gold sixteen-gauge curved bar, with tiny cone-shaped spikes on either end. “Yes?” he finally answers. What a lot of fuss about a tiny piercing.
“Well, so what if she wanted a tattoo?” Emma presses. “Like. Just a little one. You wouldn’t have her sneak around and go to some scratcher, would you? You’d take her yourself and stuff. Since you know people in the industry. That'd be the right thing to do, yeah?”
Castiel’s eyebrows rise. Claire smiles, smug and pleased with herself.
“Um. That’s… I don’t…” he flounders.
“What the hell. Kiddo, I told you ‘no,’ so now you’re tryin’ to get your friends’ parents to tell you 'Yes?'” a warm, deep voice growls over Castiel’s shoulder. “What’s the matter with you?”
(In which tattoo artist Castiel meets the man of his dreams at his teenage daughter's school night.)

Summary
Dean Winchester never wanted to wear a crown. He had no idea that he even could. It wasn't until the Campbell royals all got themselves assassinated by demons that he and Sam found out that King Samuel was actually their grandfather, and well, shit.
But Dean was a soldier before he was anything else. So maybe that's why he'll do anything to stop this awful demon war—anything. Even try to make an alliance with the angels.
They think they're gonna scare him off by telling him he's gotta be magically married—okay, okay, handfasted, but call it what it is—to some snooty noble angel for a whole year? They think Dean's gonna back out because the angels want him to be handfasted not to a proper princess, oh no, but to a prince?
Bring it on.

Summary
All throughout brushing his teeth, changing and sliding under the sheets, Dean’s teeth itched. He couldn’t stop- couldn’t stop thinking of that smooth, unbroken skin under Cas’s jaw, couldn’t stop thinking of how those women looked at him, his angel, only his. He looked at himself in the mirror and saw something starving behind his eyes. He bared his teeth and they were sharper than he remembered.
In a small, nameless American town, Sam, Dean, and Cas find a case. And something about it makes Dean hungry.
