He didn’t have any sort of wanted poster with his likeness on it yet— if he did, he was sure Koala would have gotten ahold of him somehow to let him know, even if Sabo mostly ignored her calls if he didn’t suspect they might have booty in them. “No, I don’t think so. Probably just one of those top-hats.”

Hawks frowns, realizing he's just set up a question he actually has to answer. Dabi will find out anyway, won't he? If there's one thing Hawks has learned, it's that Dabi has his ways. Hawks can never hide anything from him, no matter how hard he tries, a fact that will someday spell his undoing –– but there's no way around it now.
Willing his fight-or-flight instinct into silence, Hawks reminds his sharpened feathers he's not here for either. It'll be fine. The worst part of removing a bandaid is the dread before you rip it off. Right?

Summary
Sanji has been on the run for the past few months; fearing the shadows of his past, as well as the Marines, who will hunt him for simply being non-human. By chance, he lands at Punk Hazard for supplies, when an explosion and a chance encounter throw him into a plot to turn the world upside down. Luffy is adamant to make him part of his pack, in thanks for saving his packmate's life, but Sanji can't stay.
He's being hunted. Not just by the Marines, but by those who won't let him rest in peace. He's wasting time. If only Luffy would give up on him already. And if only that damn wolf swordsman would just let him leave.
