It's been a few months since the Trial of Seven at Ashford, where Dunk had lost so much and gained a squire. Ever since he recovered, he'd been completing odd jobs and entering any tourney that would let him for coin. He'd found mild success, so when he hears about a mysterious tourney with "irresistible" rewards a half-day's ride from the inn they're staying in, he decides to enter. Unbeknownst to him, the prizes are not wealth or gear but the favor of noble omegas from across Westeros.

Summary
Robby's sole reason for returning was not to burden the men he loves. So when he finally does come back, only to find out they've bonded and that Dennis has switched to night shift. He assumes his efforts were useless. A small part of him is or should be heartbroken. He sees the love in Jack's eyes when he looks at Dennis; sees the way the younger man's shoulders sag when he's with Jack and it hurts. But mostly he's relieved; now he can leave guilt-free, knowing they'll have each other.
Little does he know he's the reason Dennis and Jack connected in the first place. Over their shared concern and shared love... for him.

Summary
Dennis Whitaker was invisible, or at least he tried to be.
He'd learned the hard way that it wasn't good to garner attention. Especially when you're gay in a town with a population below 3,500 or when you're squatting in an abandoned wing of the hospital you're currently working at. So he found it was best to keep to himself, which is a rather hard thing to do when your 54-year-old attending can't keep his hands off you. It's even harder when that same attending finds you in the abandoned hospital wing.

It had been a shift from hell. Only beaten by the first day of his ER rotation. He had to change scrubs a record-breaking seven times! had gotten blamed and berated by a deceased patient's family, and it was Robby's and Trinity's day off. Dennis could use a bath; sadly, his bathroom at Trinity's place doesn't have a tub. Robby has one, though. But it was his day off, and he wouldn't want to be bothered by Dennis.

He does not appreciate the small, crooked, tight-lipped smile that flashes across Thorin’s face at his response, and he does not appreciate the way it makes his stomach drop.
