“Yeah, Bdubs,” Scar said, still smiling like it was the funniest thing in the world. “But when we’re yelling across the ravine at three in the morning, ‘Small B’ is faster than trying to figure out which B we mean. Big B’s the giant, you’re the… compact edition.”
Etho shrugged one shoulder. “It’s practical.”
Bdubs opened his mouth, closed it, then shoved himself off the chest. His moss cloak rustled angrily. “Practical,” he muttered. “Right. I’m gonna go… check something. Outside.”
Scott called after him, “Don’t get lost in the dark, Small B!”
Bdubs didn’t dignify that with a reply. He slipped through the door and into the night.

xB had already had enough today. “Yeah, so are you. Please get out of my base.” xB asks politely, but without an ounce of pleasant formality in his tone. EX laughs, mocking him. “Why would I do that? The fun is just getting started.” EX lifts his hands, gripping on invisible strings that force Xisuma to come closer, making him stumble a little. EX grabs xB's face, sweeping out his legs and forcing him down to his knees. A lightning strike booms the area, whiting out xB's mind, thoughts, and vision. xB panics, clawing at the hand smothering his face, tail thwacking on the floor, desperately trying to summon the other guardians but… there were none. This was a trap. Not a prank.

He was busy thinking about baking when someone rushed up and grabed him from behind. He screamed, flailing for a moment, before remembering himself and flaring out with his magic. This both sent his attacker flying, and threw their arm straight into his windpipe.
Keralis collapsed, fighting for breath as he forced himself up, stumbling back from where a human in all black had fallen. He saw them sit up and immediately grab a comm, and staggered into a sprint, heading for the portal home. He was less than 4 chunks away, he could get there — Someone jumped out of an alley and rammed into him, knocking him over. Keralis’ head slammed into the ground, and everything went blurry.
