Summary
“I’ll give you 50 fucking dollars if you suck my dick, right now.”
“Okay,” Eddie said.
“Okay. Wait, what?”
Eddie got down on his knees.
“Are you serious?”
“You got 50 bucks on you?”
“… Yeah.”
“Good,” Eddie said, and paused. “Because I swing both ways.”
(OR: Eddie comes to sell Steve weed and leaves with a lot more information about him than he had originally. Like, for instance, he’s not nearly as straight as he thinks he is.)

Summary
“Alright gang, don’t forget to have reports on classical literature that has been turned into film submitted by the end of the day tomorrow! I will be grading them during my office hours on Friday! I have a hot date this weekend and I will not be missing it because you hooligans didn’t get your work done on time! Got it?”
A chorus of wolf whistles and peals of laughter sound out over the zipping of book bags and students flooding the halls.
His front-row class clown, Lucas, cheers, “Ow ow! Get some Mr. H! Who’s the lucky lady?”
Steve props up against the front of his desk with his arms crossed over his chest. “My partner finally has a Saturday night off so we made plans.”
Stopping on his way out of the room, resident boy genius Dustin spins on his heel. “Wait wait wait. You’re like, dating dating someone?!” He shrieks.
The teacher huffs out a laugh, these kids are not very observant. “Uh, I’m engaged actually.”
Or, the one where Steve thinks his students can guess who he is engaged to.Rockstar Eddie Munson was never on their radar.

Summary
It had been two and a half months since the end of Spring Break.
Eddie had been cleared of all charges, The Byers were back in Hawkins like they’d never left, Vecna was dead and gone, and everything was back to normal; or rather as back to normal as Hawkins could get.
Unfortunately for one Steve Harrington, his new normal seemed to be not only his inability to get a date, but also his newfound proclivity towards staring at Eddie Munson’s mouth while he dramatically narrated during a five hour Hellfire session, or counting the freckles on the bridge of his nose, or memorizing the patterns in his honey coloured eyes.
What the fuck was wrong with him?
(Now with Eddie’s pov added!)

Summary
It felt like Steve's life began the summer he met Eddie.
Steve had never met anyone he liked being around more. When summer ended and Eddie had to go home, they promised they would always be best friends. They would find each other again, no matter what.
It was stupid. It was the kind of thing little kids said when they were still young enough to believe in promises and forevers.
Steve knew that. That doesn't make it hurt any less now that Eddie's back and acting like they were complete strangers. Nor does it explain the new funny feeling Steve gets whenever he looks at him.
So, Steve resolves to forget about Eddie Munson.
It's easier said than done.

Summary
“Fucking beautiful.”
“No,” isn’t the first thing Eddie expects to gasp out, but it happens anyway. His beast quakes in fear, ducking its head between its claws. But Eddie. Eddie wants it. He wants to trust Steve the way Steve trusts him, always. Wants to feel everything, even if it hurts him in the end. He’s never wanted anything so fucking badly. “That’s you, handsome,” he says in a voice too small to be his own, surely.
“Fucking beautiful,” Steve repeats, his voice firm but still full of a grace Eddie had never granted him. “So beautiful like this.” He kisses Eddie’s temple. “Blushing for me. Wanting me. How the fuck did I win the jackpot, huh?” His hand leaves Eddie’s abdomen to grasp at his own cock, using his thumb to slick the head with precome and pressing it to Eddie’s hole. “You want me like this?”
Eddie feels a familiar thrum of panic against his ribcage that flutters up into his throat, that makes him choke. “W—wait.”
——————
Or: Eddie gives himself to Steve for the first time and they both make a confession.

Summary
“Hey, it’s ok. Not a big deal, Harrington. It’s just sex.” Eddie pulls his shirt over his head, and shakes out his hair. “You don’t have to worry about me getting clingy and obsessive. Besides, I’ve got a date this weekend. You may have been my good luck charm.”
Steve sits on the edge of his bed, his sheets are pulled over his hips and silently watches Eddie get dressed.
It was just sex, right?
This doesn’t mean anything.
They’re friends.
Just friends.-or-
Eddie tries to play it cool after the first time he and Steve have sex, so he lies and says he has an upcoming date. Steve finds out about the lie, and Eddie has to apologize.

It's just a job. Wear a silly elf hat, chat to kids, and help families get their dream Christmas photos with the definitely very real Santa who is also (for some reason) hanging out exclusively in their local mall.
Steve knows this. But no amount of knowledge in the world could prepare him for Eddie Munson: a man with a strange relationship with Mall Santa and a very cute baby in his arms (that doesn't even belong to him).

Welcome to Lover’s Lake Summer Camp, Summer of ‘86!
Steve Harrington knows exactly what to expect when he starts his third summer as a counsellor at Lover's Lake - screaming kids, tiny cabins, mediocre food, and smelling so strongly of sunscreen and campfire smoke that no amount of soap can get rid of it. It's his favourite part of the year, and he can't fucking wait.
Until a new counsellor turns up and everything changes.

Summary
"Eddie knows that he does, in fact, look stupid. So does Steve, and Robin, and Nancy, and everyone else back at the Byers-Hopper cabin. Their little Christmas party had an ugly sweater theme that everyone, Eddie included, committed to. But their cabin is small, too small for over a dozen people wearing heavy sweaters and having a fire blazing in the corner.
And then Steve takes him somewhere else."
