The dungeon felt like it was coming to life.
The winding passages and frigid rooms, the belly of the beast snaking redstone, and note blocks and jukeboxes everywhere. Tango had been working on it so hard that his physicality had shifted, turning pale and blue to match the ice. Now that the dungeon was open, he felt like all his hard work was finally paying off. That wasn't the issue. His current issue was the hermits were finding the easter eggs a lot faster than he’d anticipated, and the burning dark wasn't anywhere close to done. Luckily, as a blaze-born, he doesn't need nearly as much sleep as over-worlders, and if he just keeps his head down and powers through, he'll get it done in time. He'll get it done. Even if it means a few all-nighters. So what if he forgot his clock on the way into the depths? And maybe he had barely seen his boyfriend for all these months he'd been working, working, working, but he'd be done soon. He'd be done soon.
