Summary
Wednesday stood outside Enid Sinclair’s apartment, waiting as she heard a flurry of noise inside in response to her short series of knocks.
“Wednesday,” said Enid in visible surprise, her right hand loosening on the edge of the door and her left hand— oh, her left hand falling away from her barely buttoned up shirt. Wednesday just restrained her eyes from widening as she pulled her gaze away from Sinclair’s wretched silky, pale pink shirt to settle on her- NO, to not settle on the white tank top just visible underneath, but to stare directly into Sinclair’s eyes as though it was she who had shown up at Wednesday’s door at five in the morning rather than the other way around.
The almost aggressive glare Wednesday was sending Enid did not evoke the fear she had hoped— rather, the surprise melted from Enid’s body as she leaned against the doorframe, now donning that awful, easy smile she seemed to reserve just for torturing Wednesday. Enid’s eyes crinkled at the corners as their blue shone warmly at Wednesday, and Wednesday felt faintly, almost helplessly, that maybe that wretched shirt had been the lesser of two evils.basically if wenclair was the tv show bones (2005) lol

No matter what Rachel says, the Goddess of Arcadia Bay might be all-knowing, but she can't be all-loving. Chloe's certain no goddess has ever cared about her.

This is exactly the kind of fic I yearn to print out and build a bookshelf for. It’s so good it’s pushing me around the line of dissociation

Summary
“We created it. But, biologically, it’s identical to any other. I have the same need for sleep, food, water.”
“Created it, huh?” Ava leaned a shoulder against the doorframe. “Based on what?”
“Input from our limited data on earth. We developed a cache of features and arranged them.”
“Ah, like create a Sim.” Ava nodded. At Beatrice’s blank look, she said, “It’s an earth game. We’ll play sometime. And, um, you know. You guys did a great job. At arranging.”
“Thank you.” Beatrice blinked. “It was designed to be aesthetically pleasing.”
“So you’re hot on purpose.” She blew out a long breath. “Honestly, thank God. That’s kind of relieving. I was worried I was—”

Or,
Beatrice is an alien researcher looking for information on earth. Ava, as it turns out, has a lot to teach her.

Summary
Recently, Ava had been watching Youtube videos on mindfulness in an effort to try to increase the percentage of her thoughts she was able to keep just in her head. That training was about to fail her spectacularly. “One of the nuns is kind of cute.”
Mary’s fingers paused mid stitch. Ava’s fork paused halfway to her mouth as her brain caught up with what she’d just said.
“Ava, what the fu—”
*
Or,
Ava has to spend several weeks in a church archive. The person running the archive is a nun, and also hot. She is totally normal and respectful about this.

Bookmarker's Notes
this was absolutely, entirely something else. It was incredible.
God some people are just made to write
this made my chest ache as soft soil aches for the edge of a shovel and a crack in a cave wall aches for a pickaxe and a nailed down plank of wood aches for a crowbar -

Summary
The Yellowjackets, strictly speaking, tend to have more than enough problems without time travel in the mix. None of them were planning on babysitting their teenage selves out of the blue. This was never the plan at all.
Sometimes, the plans just have to go out the window. Sometimes, you just have to trust in something bigger than what you can see.

Summary
“Oh, fine.” Natalie replied. “A little warm for fur, isn’t it?”
“It’s faux. Don’t get any ideas about red paint.”
“Hm. Okay.” Natalie nodded, then sucked in a breath. “So, you’re a lesbian, though?”
Lottie straightened and shut the fridge door, then turned back to Natalie. She had a bottle of water in her hand. “Don’t be reductive, Nat, I could be bisexual.”
“…are you bisexual?”
Lottie looked at her like she was stupid. “No, I’m a lesbian.”
*
Or,A year after moving in with Lottie, Natalie makes a discovery about her roommate that sets off a chain reaction of catastrophic proportions.
