“It will not be fine. Are you forgetting about the Minigolf incident that almost got you two arrested in Chicago? Or the axe-throwing night where the rookie almost died.”
“He did not almost die,” Shane said.
“The axe struck the wall next to his head,” Harris countered. “A few inches to the right and he would’ve been a goner.”
“He has fast reflexes; he was good.”
“Hollander, Shane, buddie, please don’t do this. Just have his party somewhere normal, rent out a hall, hell, we can have it out at the orchard. I’ll even have my sisters give you a discount,” Harris pleaded.
“It’ll be fun, Harris. A little Laser Tag, some skee-ball, what’s the worst that could happen?”

The day before the first “official” day of training camp was always a grind. They started off with medical and fitness testing and the ceremonial peeing in a cup as the first official acts of the new season. Then the hockey players - after baring more than just their souls to a team of medical professionals - would be handed over to a caffeine-fueled marketing department for a couple of hours.
