Twenty eight days. They needed to keep Atem's new body in a perfectly sterile environment for almost a month. Seto tried to muster some annoyance at the thought, but he couldn't quell the buzz of excitement in his chest.
In quarantine there'd be nowhere to run. He should hate the thought, but he felt strangely elated by it. He couldn't help thinking back to every step he took towards Atem where the other man took a step in the opposite direction. Some twisted part of him thrilled at Atem being unable to run away. It was hardly a decent reaction–to love his rival's confinement. What a selfish, childish impulse, like keeping a dragonfly trapped in a jar for his own amusement.
Whatever. He never claimed to be a decent person.
