Jack sighs, looking down at the ground. He sets down his sketchbook and pencil beside him, rubbing his temples.
"We broke up. Few days ago."
"And ya didn't think to tell me?!"
"It wasn't a big deal!" Jack insists defensively, "I didn't think I had to tell you!"
Crutchie's brow furrows. "It is a big deal! You really liked her, Jack."
"I thought I did."
