In which Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov find themselves wildly attracted to the same human. Said human is, unfortunately, quite broken, quite running from her own shadow, quite competent (Shane would know) and quite witty (how dare she make Ilya laugh). Damn her.
Also, Jackie Pike is, hands down, the best person ever (though not the person to whom Shane and Ilya find themselves drawn). Everyone knows it. Especially her husband.
**Author's note: Fic will eventually earn the M, and I reserve the right to make it an E. But babies, settle in. The burn happens at a glacial pace. And this author has no clue what the absolute heck she's doing except that she's lost many, many hours of her life.
