Hanahaki disease (house rules):
As long as you love someone and they don't love you back, you die. But this applies to all relationships, not just romantic. As long as one attachment is requited however, you can survive. It is only for the loneliest souls, when their one or two connections fade, that they suffer from the disease, coughing up petals before eventually meeting their demise. Surgery/cures for this disease has not yet been invented in the 1800s, leaving our poor Javert to face his fate!Javert is my favourite character, if you couldn't tell. Also I haven't finished the brick so if I'm OOC (I def will be) then js lmk I'll try to fix it
