Life, for now, was back to normal. Which wasn't to say safe, because they were never safe. That's just how it was. But all things considered, nobody had died. It was the least he could ask for.
Of course, Logan's mind loved to ignore logic in favor of chasing down a stray thought like a damn dog chasing after a mail truck. Catching it wouldn't do anything for him anyway, but it was some base instinct that kept him chasing, leading him to the door where he now stood.
