after a minute, it's time for the apex of tyler’s scheming. he gasps like an oscar-worthy performance, "you're finally showing, dear," and now josh is on the same page.

josh was a little frantic in how fast he tried to get his shirt off his body just like tyler wanted, even as tyler was still sprawled on top of him. dangerously close to ripping a hole in the fabric, only mark could intervene and save his shirt to be stolen between boyfriends another day.

After a record-breaking year and a blindsiding trade, MLB pitcher and 2024 Cy Young winner Tyler Joseph is going into the 2025 season alone. Josh is two thousand miles away wearing different colors, catching for a different team, and Tyler is supposed to pretend like it doesn’t matter. He’s got a rotation to lead and 162 games to survive, even if the most important person in his life isn’t there.

Summary
Tyler becomes impossible to ignore. He speaks the way he used to, and his hair truly seems to grow off of his scalp as the months drag along like they’re steeped in honey. He makes his soft-spoken, stern appearances in public, with people, at home, in the dead of night and when the sun’s reaching its highest point. Seemingly arbitrarily, whenever he deems it necessary.
Torch isn’t sure whether the thought of being haunted by Tyler for the rest of his life sounds divine or terrifying./or/
clancy doesn't survive the events of their fight against the bishops. maybe he was never meant to. torch has to haul the burden of living on with a ghost attached to his shadow.
