Summary
Umino Iruka was a good shinobi. He always donated his blood without complaint (okay, without too many complaints), and understood that vampires have unique needs. But he never expected to be handed off to one of Konoha's vampires like a living bloodbag, either!
Hatake Kakashi is a good shinobi, but he's got a problem - his vampire instincts are going weird, and now he can only drink one person's blood. Umino Iruka isn't thrilled by the idea, but at least he's willing to help. Hopefully this can all be resolved soon, and Kakashi won't need to impose any longer than absolutely necessary.

Summary
Kakashi's got a secret. He's managed to keep it hidden since he was a child, with only the Hokage really aware of his weakness. But Tsunade's fed up with him, and is giving him a short amount of time to figure himself out. It's now or never.
He knows he can't do this alone anymore. He's ready to ask for help, but now the problem is the only person he trusts to help him is Umino Iruka, and Iruka openly does not like Kakashi one bit.
Oh, and he's also in love with Iruka, just to make things worse.

After years of settling into a comfortable life as a sensei, Iruka is pulled back into the field for an S-rank he has no business being on, utilizing an ability he’s hardly ever trained, with the same mission captain who had overseen his final fuckup in the field years ago. A mission captain who doesn’t seem particularly happy to be working with him again.
Iruka probably wouldn’t be particularly happy about this, either, if he wasn’t focused on just trying to make it home alive.

The man in question leapt up into the tree beside Kakashi. "What are you doing out here? You look like a drowned rat." The teacher's face held an unusually concerned expression, his own clothes soaked through, his ponytail so wet that it drooped with its own rivulet of water running from the end, loose strands sticking to his skin. Even this close, Iruka practically had to shout to be heard over the rain and the rushing river.
"On my way back from a mission," Kakashi managed. "What are you doing out here? Who's with you?"
