Summary
“Karen, I…”
“Don’t okay, whatever you’re about to say, please don’t.”
Matt is silent for a moment, his hands on his thighs as he nods mutely to himself, “Okay.”
“Do you think it will ever come easily to us? Being friends?”
“It’s not the friends bit we are struggling with.” Matt points out, “It’s the rest of it we are leaving unsaid and pretending doesn’t exist.”
/
The five times Matt and Karen stick by their friendship code and the one time they don't.
(Or the one where Matt and Karen pretend they can be friends and only friends (and fail spectacularly)).

Summary
It might have been the most ridiculous thing she'd ever said, and there was a hell of a list to compare it to. (Technically a post-ep to 2x7, but also an alternate scene for the 2x8 preview.)

Summary
Covering Matt’s rent, losing her job, starting a new firm — it’s all adding up to financial disaster for Karen. She needs Matt to pay her back, but resurrecting his life has left him short on cash too.
One obvious way to save money? Move in together.
Karen can’t think of a better solution, but she also can’t shake the fear that getting too close will only break them apart again.
