Summary
At the start of his senior year, Flux is feeling on top of the world. He's won the housing lottery and gotten into his top choice of classes. Even better, the newest season of Decayed and Decrepit (his current fandom obsession) premieres in a couple weeks. In fact, Flux is almost feeling good enough to believe that this might be the year in which he finally works up the courage to confess to his online best friend, Silas, about the years-long crush Flux has on him.
That is, until Saparata shows up: Flux's biggest academic rival and the most insufferable person on campus, who seems determined to ruin Flux's good mood and make his life a living hell.

Summary
There are truly things that can break up a professional relationship, such as questionable strains of bacteria and a three month abandoned culture sitting in a CO2 incubator within a tissue culture lab. For their supervisors, it was three burnt out thesis student and the genetic engineering project from hell. It was only a month later that they found out that yes, Professor Fluixon and Saparata are married and they just witnessed a public spat.
But currently, the three of them continue to sigh.

Let me preface this by clarifying that my family is EXTREMELY dysfunctional. The only reason I'm on this trip is because my father threatened to cut me out of the will. I think it's the same reason everyone else is here, even my other father. who has been on strict no-contact with the other since their divorce. With that being said, I (M21) left a family dinner after an argument that was getting out of hand. I vaguely remember walking into the bar, and when I woke up this morning, I was married. My new husband (M43) was the bartender. He was getting ready to leave when I woke up. He recounted what happened the night before. In short; we're married because I wanted to piss my family off.
On his way out, we ran into my father. Now he's confronting me about "making impulsive decisions" and "repeating his mistakes." I hardly know my new husband, but I've decided to stay with him for a while to spite them. As an added bonus, he is decently easy on the eyes. He seems rather happy to be married to me despite what he told me was a disastrous drive-thru wedding. My whole family is mad at me, and they all say I'm "making this about me."
Am I the asshole?

The one who has come back from the documentary filming looks like Saps. Sounds like Saps. Everyone thinks it's Saps who has returned, safe and sound, from his six-month trip away on the project.
Fluixon is the only one who knows the truth. The man who is in his home, who wears his wedding ring, who wears the face of his lover, is not Saparata.
