"The foundation of all mental illness is the unwillingness to experience legitimate suffering," ── Carl Gustave Jung
Wake up worried and giving love then close the blinds with nowhere to give it, something Dick knows that far too well even if he has the tools to not let it suffocate him and drown him into a life no one wanted for him.

Summary
When is a door not a door? When it’s ajar.
Jason Todd was dead—but he wasn’t.
That still body back in the morgue wasn’t Jason. Jason was somewhere else—maybe asleep in the library, or playing videogames on Dick’s couch, or sitting on a rooftop in Crime Alley. Dick would go home and walk by Jason’s favroite gargoyle and he would be sitting up there smoking a cigarette, and maybe they’d lie on their backs and watch the stars.
He isn’t dead, Dick said to himself. He isn’t dead.
And this time, his dreaming worked.
Dick convinced himself that his little brother wasn’t dead.

He inched toward the goods on the table slowly. Uncertain. The cookies did not look as though they had been tampered with and the thermos was still quite warm, so someone who did this had done it recently. But who knew he liked those very specific cookies, a lucky guess? Insider information? But why like this, why not something bigger? To slowly break his sanity?
