Summary
Blow after blow assaulted him, and each time the green energy surged through his body like fire. It seemed to tear at his very code, pulsing and burning. It tore deeper and deeper sending white hot agony through his code until he couldn't bear it anymore. His vision narrowed until all he could see were two pinpricks of green, shining brighter than stars. Then the world blinked out.

Summary
What if Tony Stark died of Palladium poisoning during the events of Iron Man 2?
Tony knew he was dying, and after giving away his company to Pepper and the War Machine suit to Rhodey, Tony gives away one more thing - the title of Iron Man.
But the title doesn't pass to Rhodey like the silver suit. Instead, it, and a new type of suit, pass to the one who was closest to Tony, and who was often overlooked as Tony's true best friend: JARVIS.
OR, how the MCU would be different if JARVIS took over as Iron Man.

Summary
Before his first battle, Loki cast a spell to ensure that, if he died, he would be brought back to life in a safe place in the body he had at the time of casting. He didn’t find a way to keep his memories intact, so after he survived the battle he discarded the plan as a childish impulse. If he thought about the spell at all over the next several centuries, he assumed that it had never worked, or had lost its power.
