    This fic has left craters in my psyche the approximate size and shape of Crysis: Legion. I recommend this to just about everyone I meet and revisit it on the scale of yearly, I'd hazard. Easily one of the most poignant things I've read in an age.

    Holds up phenomenally as the years wear on, too.
