Cerulean eyes, eyes that have the sweetness of a sigh, the sublime voice of the sun, powerful and soft at the same time, shaped jaw, pointed nose... lips drawn in a confused frown - Wait, what? Keith blinked repeatedly, thus returning to reality, to realize that the mysterious boy he had apparently been staring at for who knows how long had been talking to him.
"Dude, are you okay? You completely spaced out“ and his voice... - He should not concentrate on his voice, what he should concentrate on were the words that that voice produced.
"Wh-what?" eloquent, he was doing a great job at not looking like an idiot who stares at people he doesn't know on buses for a long, embarrassing amount of time. "Sorry, I-I was distracted" and he wasn't lying, he had been distracted, even when he didn't want to admit the reason for his inattention.
//alternatively, these two dorks meeting at some busy bus!

It started with one and quickly multiplied from there.
At first it had been innocuous, hardly of any note. Lieutenant Anderson himself barely noticed, and it was more of a side note in his mind. It was nothing to be concerned with, what with all of Connor’s new and very concerning habits, thank you very much you self-sacrificial asshole, of course I needed some more heart attacks in my life.
But then Connor began to fucking jingle.

Hank’s brow furrows. Connor can’t bring himself to look at him.
“Feel like what?” When he can’t speak because of his crying, Hank insists, “Connor, talk to me, kid.”
“Like this.” The android’s tone is nothing but pure frustration, and so are his vague gestures. “I’m… God, I should be happy, I should be grateful… I should be happy, but I’m not. There’s something wrong with me—there is something deeply and fundamentally wrong with me.”
( Or, Connor is harassed during an investigation and has a breakdown. Luckily, Hank is there for him. )
