“Oh!” Ralsei couldn’t help but laugh. “I don’t know much about romance, but… I suppose you’d both want to do that now.”
“Yeah, but… What if I try to do it and mess up? What if she tries to kiss me and, uh… I dunno what to do? It’s never happened to me before.”
“N-Never?” They furrowed their brow. “No one’s… ever kissed you?”
“Not even on the cheek or anything.”
“Not even on the cheek?! Not even your… family?”
She let out a bitter laugh. “Heh. Funny you mention that. You know that thing politicians do where they’ll go out and kiss babies? To get their moms to vote for ‘em? Well, my mom took me along to see some senator or something when I was a baby. Took one look at us and started walking in the exact opposite direction. Dad… really likes telling me that story.”
If Susie needs help learning how to kiss girls, Ralsei is there to offer it. What else are friends for?

(I plan to get into everyone's feelings about their bodies, but this is going to be mostly focus on Zooble's dysphoria, abstragedy's relationship because I love them, and on transfem Jax because I'm 1000% percent on the transfem Jax train. The later chapters especially are gonna be mainly transfem Jax. This is mostly a transfem Jax fic, the other stuff is just sprinkled in for flavor and variety and because I love them.)
[EDIT: this was mostly written before episode nine, so it uses my human designs rather than the canon ones. I don’t wanna go back through all the descriptions and retcon it.]
