Summary
Fuyumi could have Bakugou if she wanted him—Shouto honestly wasn’t even sure how he’d become friends with Bakugou, just that it had happened somewhere along all the blood and furious shrieking (from Bakugou, not him) and trailing after Midoriya together like lost puppies—so he didn’t feel the loss (if it was a loss? The jury was still out) too keenly.
Midoriya, on the other hand. Shouto simply wouldn’t allow Natsuo to lay his grubby little hands on Midoriya. He’d fight him (again), if he had to, fight him to the bitter end—and hopefully get some answers about why this was going on in the first place as he did.

Or, Midoriya and Bakugou befriend Natsuo and Fuyumi respectively, and Shouto doesn't know how to deal with that.
