“What?” Jimin turns her head back forward. It’s a mistake. Black eyes glimmer above lips that turn into a delicate smirk.
“We could be a team,” Aeri drawls, another hand coming up to wrap behind Jimin’s neck. Fingers dip into the back of her collar as they thumb the rising goosebumps on her skin. “You and I could work together.”

Summary
Mornings here had no horizon, days here had no ends, and compasses here pointed to no direction. It was as if everything was anchorless, the constants of time and direction long abandoned after she’d crossed the threshold of Earth’s atmosphere.
Jimin had said that they were decent human beings; at least, better than rusty space junk. And Minjeong wants to believe it.
Yet, bouncing from planet to planet, drifting aimlessly in a destination-less odyssey, she wonders if they really are so different from the floating debris they chase after.
