Summary
Not sure exactly what this is but I wrote it back in May and I'm actually pretty proud of it. I also have not seen a single episode of this show. I blame Pinterest entirely. But otherwise I wouldn't have experienced the once in a lifetime, chaotic as hell event of Destiel going canon, un-canon, canon again, all while trending over the US election. Wack. Hope you enjoy!

On a perfectly average Tuesday night – as far as any night can be called perfectly average anymore nowadays – the sky goes pitch black above Manhattan, a violent storm rattles the roofs, vivid blue and purple lightning bolts illuminate the clouds.
Once it is over, as suddenly as it began, news trickles in of difficult-to-explain phenomena occurring worldwide: The statue of liberty has changed color to a bright pink, an exact replica of the great wall of China has appeared across the Sahara desert, it rains feathers in Copenhagen for several hours, every single stapler on Sumba Island turns into a coat hanger, and Tony Stark wakes up from an impossible-to-wake-up-from coma.Bookmarked by freckled_wings

Peter is fine, anyways. His boss might fire him soon, the Avengers might arrest him soon, the principal might expel him soon, but none of it has happened yet. And his dad—
“You didn’t get my coffee,” his dad says, halfway through his burrito. He has been in a state of low, simmering irritation all evening, and apparently this is how long it took for him to find a reason to blame Peter for it.
“You didn’t tell me to get coffee.”
“Do you have eyes?”
“Yes,” Peter says. “I have eyes.”
“So you could have checked if we needed coffee without me telling you every little thing, Jesus Christ.”

Tony processes all that a moment.
“Tony?” she asks.
“You’re at the food bank? How much do I pay you?”
She gives another little huff. “Charity, Tony. Did any of the actually important things I just said register in your brain?”
“Oh, all right. Consider it my charity work for today.”
