Summary
"He liked me?"
"Of course. I mean, you're you."
Eddie scrunches his nose up in confusion.
Cute."What's that supposed to mean?"
"Eddie, have you looked in a mirror? You're hot. That can't be news to you."
Eddie seems to still at that. Then, as if a switch had been flipped, the confused and irritated look on Eddie is gone. A sly grin spreads across Eddie's face as he leans back against the counter, crossing his arms, his biceps bulging in the tight t-shirt.
Shit.
"...You think I'm hot, Buckley?"
or: Buck is perfectly happy in his relationship with Tommy, he really is. He just thought that Eddie liked Tommy. But it seems he got that wrong. And Buck really values Eddie's opinion.

eddie: "tommy" is a nickname, and nicknames are for friends, and thomas kinard is no friend of mine.

Summary
Something wasn’t adding up. It was there in the forefront of his mind as he stared at the broken pieces of the few hours Buck hadn’t been by his side and made the weight in his stomach warp into hot worry.
After a surprising first kiss with Eddie, Buck goes to break up with the guy he's been seeing to give him and Eddie a shot. But breaking up with someone is never easy.

Summary
Moonlight slips through the blinds, both brightening the room in a way that creates a haze of greyish midnight blue and casts lines of shadows across the room. Buck’s side of the bed is nearest to the window, which means he’s facing Eddie’s side of the bed— an empty one at that.
Doubt clouds Buck’s muddled brain, and his eyebrows wrinkle in confusion. There’s no reason for Eddie to be behind him— none that make sense at least— but his hope gets the better of him.
“Eddie?” he croaks out, starting to tilt his head backward.
“Not quite,” the deep voice of an unknown man says.
Buck and Eddie have just started moving into their new house when trouble in the form of two cruel intruders finds its way into their home in the middle of the night.

Summary
“Hey, Diaz? Take it from someone who’s been there — it’s not as scary as you think it’ll be.”
Eddie frowns. He glances at Buck, as if Buck has any idea what Tommy is talking about. “What’s not?”
“I like to think I’m uniquely positioned to say it’s worth it.”
Or, Buck is not in love with his best friend, and Eddie is super straight. For sure. Definitely.

Summary
Margaret says, every inch the interfering grandmother, “Maddie, dear, are you thinking you’ll have another after this little one?”
"Maybe let her get through this one first,” Buck says.
Philip says, "We always thought two was the perfect number of children, you know. That way there’s always a parent available to drive each one around."
And Buck snaps, "Well that worked out for you, didn't it."
