Summary
The Council of Seven converges on this Summer Solstice, and with it all the nobility and royalty from across the lands are expected to attend.
Zaun, despite their tenuous relationship with their sister city, finally attends this year with their royal family, hoping to achieve a seat on the Council to gain independence. But in this city, they are not sure who they can trust. Too many Piltovans would see the royals dead at the insistence of the corrupt nobles in court, and only a few are willing to stand in the way of that.
Meanwhile, something much darker stirs on the horizon; monsters that first made the Council convene to fight back against the purge are appearing in the countryside. Allegiances are made, marriages are proposed and investigations are held to try and forge greater defences against the oncoming threat.
What are they to do, when the threats are already within the walls?
