Summary
Fed up with serving a soulless corporation, former Joja Corp employee Georgia has moved to Pelican Town to start her new life as a farmer. There, she becomes close friends with Sam, an easy-going young man who is helping to raise his brother while their father is at war, and Alex, a gridball-obsessed jock with a heart of gold. Sam quickly falls for the young farmer but so does Sebastian, an introverted computer programmer and Sam's best friend. Sebastian's problems are threefold: his best friend has a crush on the same girl as him, he's soon due to move away from Pelican Town for good, and their friend Abigail just won't stop pursuing him.
Follow the alternating perspectives of Georgia and Sebastian: Georgia as she navigates her way through learning to farm and fit in with a small community, and Sebastian as he struggles with first love, a family who doesn't seem to care about him, and how to understand and vocalise the feelings he didn't know it was possible to feel.
