“Are you injured?” Chuuya’s eyes immediately narrow to where one of Akutagawa’s arms are wrapped around his middle.
He lets the arm fall, biting the inside of his cheek as pain flashes through his side. “No,” he lies.
Still, Chuuya catches on immediately, sighing something more resigned than disappointed. He moves forward, offering a hand to Akutagawa.
“Come on,” he says, “I’ll help.”
