“It’s Riku, by the way,” he said with a glint in his eyes. Before he could react, he was gone in seconds, probably comforted by the leather cushions of the car.
Riku.
The name stayed with him as he walked. It was simple and small, yet it made him see and hear the city differently somehow. Everything felt soft and restless. As he walked away, Daeyoung caught himself repeating it under his breath, not out of habit but like a secret he wasn’t ready to let go of yet.

Daeyoung was always giving in as much as he could. But all others wanted was for him to do more.
“Last night I asked Ushi hyung what he ordered for room service but he turned the question back and asked me to guess. So that was a little frustrating.”
Then comes in Riku, Yushi’s personal lawyer. “That’s because he wants to have a conversation with you.”
“Yeah, it means I want to talk…that I want to have a conversation~”
“That’s just his way of doing things, you know?” Ryo butts in.
“So why don’t you understand him?”
“It suddenly feels like Jaehee hyung is the one being blamed.”
“Understand how Yushi feels.” Riku presses.
“W- me too..! Understand my feelings too!”
Or: Daeyoung did not understand Yushi like second nature the way others such as Riku did. But for his hyung, he tries.

"Well, both, I guess," Yushi says, "either."
