Summary
Cyno gets tasked with an assignment outside of rogue scholars. No, this time, someone has been snatching Valuka Shuna from their protected lands to sell, to trade, and worse- to breed.
After meetings with a very stubborn fox in the desert, Cyno has to face an impossible task of saving hybrids that are being poached, smashing a smuggling ring apart, and then, hopefully, saving the fox that led him to the underground market.
Alternate Universe where, before Cyno was assigned to follow Tighnari, someone steals him away. Relies on a lot of headcanon about Valuka Shuna, and diverges from the plot quite a bit- besides the fact that I can assign Il Dottore as the f-cking worse.

Summary:
He may be strange, but overall he is not a bad neighbor. He does not use his yard, which is a shame because he does get some very good light — but he doesn’t get cross at anyone else for passing through it and he does keep it neat. Sometimes on humid nights, when the wind is cool and strong, he sits in the back with a bottle of wine, and occasionally Nour sees him joining some of the other men a few houses down for rounds of chess and cards, but only very rarely. He keeps the exterior of the house tidy and there’s never any loud sounds coming from it. Nour doesn’t think he has any guests — most likely because he doesn’t have many friends.With a personality like that one she’s sure that whatever friends he does have must have equally strong personalities and with that, a powerful need for distance and meetings in shared spaces to prevent major blow-ups.
This is the extent of Nour’s knowledge of Al-Haitham and the outer bounds of her interactions with him.

Summary
Venti's wrists are so frail. Diluc is always worried that he'll hurt the archon somehow, but Venti has assured him that it isn't possible. Still, Diluc makes sure to press a gentle kiss to Venti's wrist each time, and to place his fangs carefully so as not to damage anything too important.
"There we go," Venti always says once Diluc latches on, like he's gotten a stubborn baby to drink from a bottle. Diluc always feels fragile in Venti's hold, like a newborn fawn, despite the fact that they both know that he is no better than a rabid wolf.
