Summary
Moonlight made pools of yellow on the marble. What was this place? Summary
Shortly after midnight, Bilbo Baggins crept through the halls of Erebor like the burglar he was. If most burglars tended to wear a little more than a dressing gown, it was only because most burglars were out to steal more than a few minutes alone.
Bilbo sneaks into the baths at night, hoping for a chance to wash up privately. Fortunately, his plans go awry when he sees Thorin already bathing alone. After watching the king for a while, he overcomes his hesitation and joins his friend.

Summary
Bilbo has lost his memory after getting knocked out in Ravenhill, and is found by Thranduil. He’s taken to Mirkwood, unconscious still, to be treated. Upon waking, he discovers he has no memories of the previous year.
Unaware of this development, Thorin and his heirs lie recovering from their wounds and confined to bed rest. Free of the gold madness, the King orders them to search for Bilbo, as the brave burglar is still counted among the many who have disappeared during the fight. Despite this, they find no trace of Bilbo before a terrible snowstorm forces them to abandon their task and accept what they believe to be the hobbit's fate.
The King Under the Mountain mourns and, in the meantime, Bilbo sleeps.

Summary
Thorin is the King of Erebor, and as such, there are many things that require his attention. Bilbo misses his friend dearly, so he has the stupid idea to put on his ring and go be nosey in Thorin's chambers. After all, Thorin is too busy to actually be there, right?
