Agott closed her own eyes and sighed. She'd just go back to her work and keep drawing. There was nothing else to it. She breathed in, opened her eyes, and shrieked.
A girl sat perched on a ladder, engrossed in a book. She had hair the colour of young barley. Agott didn't have much time to observe her—the girl startled at Agott’s cry. The wheels of the ladder scooted back, and she tumbled down the length of the bookshelf, hitting the tough floorboards a second after her book with a hard smack.

Summary
After surviving the plots of the Brimmed Caps in the Serpentback Cave, the members of Qifrey's atelier were whisked away to the Great Hall to meet a summons from Beldaruit, the Wise in Teachings. Before meeting the renowned witch though, the atelier spent the night in the Healing Spire below the sea to recover.
What hadn't been shown was a midnight escapade by the two apprentices most affected by the second test's interruption: Agott and Richeh. As Agott intended to treat her wound in private, Richeh surprisingly appeared to help. Will the two of them be able to overcome the divide in their relationship, or will the shadows that still lingered after their escape consume them?

Or Agott decides to care for her injury herself to not reveal the ink tattooed on her arm, and she and Richeh have a heart-to-heart about their shared experience.

Agott watches this strange behavior from Coco in silence. This is certainly some new development for her. And although this isn't the first time they've kept each other company in the dead of night, it is the first time that the atmosphere weighs down this heavily on them. Her hand itches for her palm quire then, to sketch out some of those silly spells that brought a smile to Coco's face the last time...
But part of her intuition tells her only to wait. And Agott waits as patiently as she can, as Coco hugs her knees to her chest again, as her hands fidget with the sleeves of her nightgown.
"Do you ever feel like," she says, her gaze and her voice a thousand miles away. "you're not yourself anymore?"

After Silver Eve, Coco loses her footing for a while. Agott is there to try and steady her.

“What?” Olruggio gives them both a tired look. “It’s long past your bedtime, and you are too old to play with your food—”
He stops.
Agott feels burning embarrassed, because she knows he noticed it by this point. His eyes slowly assess her arm, the closed wound, half hidden by the darkness and golden honey; but it’s noticeable. It’s sudden, how Olruggio pulls her a bit closer.
Without thinking, Agott grabs Coco by her own hand and squeezes it hard.
“What is this?”
