Kai hasn’t had much luck in the romance department.
Between his chaotic schedule and the fame that has him fighting to hold on to as much privacy as he can, he hasn’t had the time nor confidence to pursue any relationships. Which is unfortunate, given the fact that his lack of a partner eats at him a little more each day until his omegan instincts threaten to begin deteriorating his health and drive him insane.

Taehyun smiled. Just the corner of his lips, a small, barely there thing. “No, we’re cool.”
“Okay. That’s good.” Kai sat back, taking the answer but not quite believing it.
After a series of awkward interactions, Kai was convinced Taehyun didn't like him. When he woke one day to find that he could suddenly read every one of his thoughts, Kai quickly found that wasn't the case at all. In fact, it was quite the opposite.

Soobin,
The whole of this week, Taehyun and Kai have been acting strange, to say the least. I’ve never seen them talk to each other, but every time I look over at the breakroom, they’re standing there. Together, for whatever reason. The coffee is not that good.
Of course, I’m not saying that means anything. But I’m not saying it means nothing, either. I wonder if they can keep this up throughout the retreat next week. If you’ve heard anything about this, let me know. I’m going to figure it out anyway, though.

“What the hell?” he splutters, coughing and choking.
