Every word Seishiro could have screamed in Ego's face dies on his tongue. His mouth slams shut so hard he swears he hears the crunching of bone.
Reo… an omega?
No, that couldn't be right. For as long as Seishiro has known Reo, he's been a beta. An emotional, easily excited, and eccentric beta, but a beta nonetheless.
Unless Seishiro slept through a very informative health class or walked into a different reality when last exiting the doors of Blue Lock, Reo being in heat simply isn't possible.
Or, Nagi gets summoned back to Blue Lock after his lock off, but not for the reason he thinks.

"You're sweeter than usual," the alpha says. Nagi looks both sexy and cute, his cheek squishing against Reo's thigh. Fingers knead against the soft skin as Nagi blinks up at him. "Are you going into heat?"
"I shouldn't be," Reo replies, his breath hitching when Nagi leans to press another teasing kiss against him.

Perhaps a heat wouldn't be a bad thing. If he went into heat right now…
It's a thought that makes Reo's heart skip a beat. Nagi is unaware of his thoughts, the alpha continuing to stare up at him, waiting. If Reo went into heat right now then it would be a chance to make sure Nagi wouldn't leave. The idea is both thrilling and terrifying. If he went into heat then Nagi would certainly help him.
And if Nagi helped him then Reo could probably convince him to…
Then Nagi wouldn't leave him again, right?

Summary
Reo isn't sure who had the bright idea of starting this game.
It's not like he's never heard of it before, of course! He knows it's a silly little game typical teenagers tend to like to play, usually gathered in a circle together and giggling like schoolgirls. It's a game meant to be all in good fun, an exercise for the brain in weighing choices, and of course: for the drama.
He just didn't expect a bunch of teen boys to play it.
Or, Blue Lock gets a night off to party and decides to play the classic game of "Fuck, Marry, Kill". Reo learns more about his teammates' tastes than he'd like to know, including the preference of a certain seal. He reacts... about as expected.

Summary
“Do you know how to take care of yourself when you’re injured?” Kira doesn’t know why he’s asking. Their teamup was based on logic. It is never going to transition into friendship, as Kira’s had enough of those things, and Nagi looks like the only friend he had left is Reo, and he’s itching to return to him as fast as possible.
“No,” Nagi says, truthfully. Would it kill him to lie every once in a while? Kira is getting embarrassed on his behalf. Can’t take a bath without Reo. Can’t eat without Reo feeding him. Can’t sleep without Reo cuddled up in his bed… honestly man, get a grip. “When I get injured, Reo helps me feel better.”
“Did your parents ever teach you anything…?” He asks hesitantly, already solidifying an image of Nagi in his head. The child neglect alarm bells are currently being raised, and it won’t stop.
Nagi’s brown eyes look at him, and he does not respond. Kira swallows and averts his gaze; now he knows the answer.
Kira helps Nagi clean his wounds after the first round of their new lives.
