Edward was born earlier, to a much younger Hohenheim. Even with a much different start to life, one thing still holds true: he loves Alphonse more than anything, even if his beloved brother does stupid things like run off and join the military at age 11.

ch 2
Ed was born to Hohenheim in xerxes, and became a philosopher’s stone like his dad, tho Ed was completely unaware of what they were doing. Before the transmutation, Ed’s mom was killed by bandits while she and Ed were on a trip, and Ed lost his arm and leg. Xerxes doesn’t have auto mail but they do have fairly advanced prosthetics. Ed is frozen in his 15 yr old body, but he’s about 425. Hohenheim has Al with Trisha during the canon time, and Ed helps raise Al even after their dad leaves. After Trisha dies, Al performs human transmutation without telling Ed what he’s planning, and he loses an arm. Al joins the military against Ed’s wishes. Al wants the philosopher’s stone for canon reasons, but also to help people like Nina.
Al doesn’t know Ed is functionally immortal- he assumes his childhood memories of Ed always looking the same age are just unreliable. They tell people that Ed is about 20, but then Al sees photos of Ed looking the same while Al is a baby and realizes Ed is lying to him about something. Al finds the fifth laboratory and discovers what the stones are made of. Ed is devastated for him, but not surprised.
Ed and Al run into Ling, and Ling provokes a fight. Ed and Al split up and while Ling (and Lan Fan) fights Ed alone he confronts him about all the energy he can feel in him. Ed refuses to explain, but Lan Fan accidentally kills him and Ling refuses to leave him alone until he spills the secret of his immortality. Ed decides to finally explain his past to winry and al and let’s the xing party stay out if the hope that the truth will stop them from pursuing immortality. Ling has been very flippant about it and it aggravates Ed. Ch 2 is a flashback to the events of the fall of xerxes. ch 3 continues the flashback into their time in xing and then later amestris. -

Summary
Laura Hale is arrested hours after returning to Beacon Hills. Derek Hale returns to town to bring his sister back home and together they are drawn into the mystery of a rogue wolf on their family land. They also can't seem to stop bumping into the Sheriff's son, Stiles.
Laura is determined to make Stiles her new best friend and Derek just wants everyone to survive so he can get the hell out of the town that took everything from him. Stiles just wants everyone to be happy.

Max has to be strong for them all, after all - she's the reason the transgenics escaped, she's the reason they're dying. But her mind is fragile, broken down over years of been hunted, searching for family that doesn't want to be found, of been so alone that she overlooks the manipulation. Until Alec, every time she turns around he's right there, waiting for her to come to her own realizations.
“I thought Logan was going to be my fairy tale ending, now I'm finding out he wasn't the man I thought he was. I thought love was this big thing, full of heightened emotions, where you're on the top of the world one moment and the next you're plummeting, at rock bottom is the worst kinda feeling but when everything is workin’ out it's the best feeling. Now I think I was wrong, I was just a tool, a broken tool that he fixed to his liking to use me how he saw fit. Love shouldn't make you feel like your world will end if you say or do the wrong thing, love shouldn't make you feel worthless and broken. It was never love, not for him, it was just convenience. For me, it was everything. And now I don't know if there's enough pieces left of me for anyone to ever love.”

Follows the broad strokes of the canon plot, but Max realizes Logan is manipulating and using her and decided to stop trying to be with him. He doesn’t take it well. She becomes closer, more genuine friends with Alec sooner than canon, and starting around ch 26 they start a tentative romance. Max feels burned from Logan’s betrayal of trust and Alec is content to let her set the pace. Preceding that, they often find themselves in sync and communicating wordlessly on jobs. So much so that Original Cindy starts giving them sideyes before they get together.
Most recent episode plot- Alec arrested for Ben’s crimes but exonerated. Transgenic existence confirmed to the public and public vilification begins. Joshua is missing Annie and Alec suggests moving him to Terminal City so he can be with other transgenics and go outside, but they get chased through the sewers before that happens and Ames White kills Annie. Also, Lydecker is still alive in this- he only faked his death -
