    Instead of escaping Tantiss and reuniting with her family, Omega and Crosshair are shot down on an unknown plant wrought with ice and snow, injured, starving, and with no way of contacting the outside world.

    Omega must grapple with her newfound relationship with her wayward brother, thaw out his icy exterior, and decide what she will ignore, what she will hold onto, and what she must sacrifice for survival, suffering the consequences of morality. Crosshair must come to terms with the crippling loss of agency, his continued worth as a human being with the decisions he made, and accept his struggling love for a sister that never gave up on him. Together, the two clones of the long lost Bad Batch must come together to fight the depravity of humanity and their own moral codes to ensure their survival in an unforgiving world wrought with cold and starvation, hunted by an unknown force that shines of an aching familiarity.

    Crosshair and Omega are strangers, connected by nothing but blood and the people they both once called family.
    But here, in Hemlock's lab, with no one to turn to but each other, they soon realise that they must stick together if they want to survive.

    Crosshair has lost everything. With Mayday dead, he can only hope that his remaining brothers have hidden at the farthest edge of the galaxy - even if it means he will never see them again.
    But when the little girl they tried so desperately to protect is thrown into his cell, terrified and alone, he can't help but shake off some of his earlier resentment towards her. With a growing feeling of responsibility for her, he is forced to ask himself what it even means anymore, to be a Clone, a soldier - a brother.
    When the opportunity comes to flee from the facility, Crosshair and Omega have to work together to survive. But Omega is keeping a secret about his brothers that will threaten to pull them apart. And Crosshair also can't shake the feeling that Hemlock is hiding something big that could endanger them all if they're not careful...
