Toby Miller doesn’t like being bothered, in fact, he goes out of his way to be mean to his classmates just so they would never talk to him. Though one of his classmates didn’t get that Memo.
Elijah Sinclair sat right behind Toby in class. He was weird, loud and loved to throw paper at the back of Tobys head during class. One of Elijahs favourite things to annoy Toby about is the large pine forest surrounding Peakwood, claiming he hears voices coming out of the dense forest at night and that he was going to explore that place. A bunch of crazy talk, Toby tells himself.
When Eli stopped showing up to class, Toby was more than happy for the peace and quiet. But as days go by without anyone mentioning Elijah, he couldn’t help asking around if he’s alright.
Only his classmates have never heard of anyone called Elijah in their class.
