Summary
It all begins with a forceful bump to the shoulder and a whip of long auburn hair in you peripheral. Then a sharp pain explodes in the muscle of your upper arm and your vision blurs for a second. Your right hand immediately reaches up, yanking a thin, inches long glass shard out of your left shoulder. You turn on your heels, and when a gap opens in the sea of passersby, you catch a glimpse of her—an ice cold stare, a locked jaw and thin lips, curled into a challenge.

Summary
Retching noises fill the bathroom. His knees hurt from kneeling on the floor tiles already, but he keeps rubbing small circles into Steve’s back until the muscles under his fingertips tighten once more and another pitiable sound emerges.
Javi scrunches his nose and sighs deeply. The sour smell of vomit pervades the already thick air, chokes the both of them.
How? How did they get here? Or rather, why didn’t he just pretend to not be home when the phone rang?
It’s too late now. Much too late to run.Steve heaves under his touches, stays still. Then retches some more.
It goes on like this for a while until bursts of alcohol and body fluids eventually turn into empty convulsions. Steve's body slackens in his grasp.“You done here?” Javi’s words sound hollow and a bit too harsh with the growing fatigue that settles on him.
