Summary
Anyone else left with a gaping hole in their heart after Wolfbird Ch. 13/14? While we await Opal’s return, this is my outlet to assuage mine.
This is an alternate universe—a divergent branch that picks up after Ch. 14 and finishes the story. Told entirely through text messages and mixed media.

Ilya looks at him, harder now that Shane seems very focused on the floor instead of meeting his eyes. Shane says, quieter than before, "It's not like it fucking bothers you, anyway. Or does it?"
